Lady, a 4-year-old quarter horse, came to us with her 1-month-old colt, Coltan. They were from a breeding farm whose owner was getting older and was no longer able to care for the animals properly. It appears she was malnourished and is unhandled.Coltan has been weaned and she is currently being worked with to gain her trust and to accept us humans. As soon as she learns to accept a halter and can be led she will be available for adoption. She will continue to be worked with until adopted.
